Today is
the fourth day of  Guru-Maharajas kirtan
retreat in Moscow, this is the day of 12 h kirtan and the motto of the day is
opening
the heart and chanting with the feeling of separation and longing.

This
morning we received the sad news of Aindra Prabhus departure, it was offcourse
a great shock  for many devotees.
Guru-Maharaja decided to dedicate today’s kirtan to Aindra prabhu. He started
the
kirtan in the morning by sayng:

When we
were preparing this kirtan retreat we asked different devotees a question:
„What
is a good kirtan“  We also asked this question
from Aindra Prabhu. His answer was :

 “Chant with feeling!”

When we
asked how to develop those feelings He answerd:

“Feel the
separation From Radha and Krishna! “

It is
amazing that those instructions are exactly overlapping with our topic of the
day!

Then
Guru-Maharaja continued by saing:

“A great
light has left the world and the world is a little bit darker now, but He has
left this message to all of us, He has gone back to Krishna, because He was a
dear servant of Sri Sri Radha-Shyamasundra,  so let us try to fulfill His
instruction today
in our kirtan.”

Then
Guru-Maharaja read to us from one commentary of Caitanya Caritamrta, where
Srila
Prabhuapada had indirectly mentioned Aindra Prabhu. In the commentary Srila
 Prabhupada wrote about how important it was
for Him that the 24 h kirtan is established in Vrindavana. Guru-Maharaja told
us, how in the beginning of the 24 h kirtan Aindra Prabhu had to sometimes
chant
for 12 h alone, because there were not enough kirtan leaders and because of
this He sometimes lost His voice. Because Guru-Maharaja also often tended to
lose
his voice, so once He asked Aindra Prabhu  what to do in this situation. Aindra
Prabhus
answer was: “ If You lose Your voice, then chant with Your heart!”

Guru-Maharaja
told us also about His last meeting with Aindtra Prabhu, that was in Kamyavan
were we went to support Ramesh Baba, a saint of Vraja, in his project to
protect the mountains of Vraja from being mined. All of the sudden Aindra
Prabhu appeared there with His kirtan group and started to sing kirtan, it was
amazing to see 20 thousand Indians singing and dancing in His kirtan.
Guru-Maharaja
said, that Aindra Prabhu was also known and  respected amongst the saints of
Vraja.The kirtan is going on untill 10 o clock this evning
