Sacinandana Swami o bh. Miljenku
Dear devotees
Please accept my blessings and obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
With great shock I have heard about the motorcycle accident of Miljenko. It was touching my heart deeply - since I have met Miljenko several times and discussed deep spiritual truths with him. I have come to know that he was a very determined searcher for God. And not only that. He tried to apply all his practical insights and realizations immediately into his life - both his professional life as well as his private life. It is rare to find people in these days and age who are living their convictions. It is rare to find people who are the same both inside and outside.
I am sure that Bhakta Miljenko has gone to a good destination from where he can further advance in his life. Sometimes we are standing at the site of an accident and we ask ourselves the question: Was it fair that the Lord took such a person in the midst of his life away from his body and the children who are left behind and others like the close relatives and this question begins to haunt us: Was it fair, what is the reason?
The answer to this question is difficult for us humans to understand, since the ways in which the Lord bestows His mercy is always inconceivable. He always works in such a way that ultimately the living entities are benefited - just like an all-merciful father will act in various ways to educate his children and bring them further on their paths.
As a devotee of Krsna, I always feel that such surprising incidences, where all of a sudden a man is taken away young, proove the point that this world is an impermanent place - a house of correction.
It makes one very sober, thoughtful and determined to use the time one has properly so that one can learn his lessons fast and correctly.
We will hold Miljenko dear in our memory and we will try our best to help the relatives and the children to overcome the loss.
Wishing you all the best, Sacinandana Swami
