I'm very sorry to hear of Nataka Candrika's departure and wish to offer my
sincere condolences to you, all her family members. I am sad because there
was not an opportunity for me to see her one time before and to offer my
encouragement and support; at the same time it is wonderful to hear of the
circumstances of her departure and of her peaceful disposition at the time
and in the days leading up to this moment. There is no doubt that Lord
Krishna has taken her closer into His shelter, and in retrospect I see now
the difficulties she was having in ordinary dealings in this world to have
been the result of her experience of separateness from this world and of her
inner preparation to leave it behind to take full shelter of Krishna. So her
departure is glorious and you and all of us may be proud of her for having
so successfully faced and traversed the vale of death to reach the Lord's
lotus feet.

As a 'practical suggestion' for you, her sons and father, you might find it
helpful to spend some time in the next days recollecting and writing down
your memories of Nataka Candrika -- even small and 'insignificant' events,
habits, things she said, etc., can be noted and kept as part of the family
record. Who knows but that one day these memories would be read and
cherished by later family descendents, and by others as well.
